Lode Runner X to be exclusive on Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY, and other Xperia devices
Owners of Sony Ericsson Xperia range of Android phones would be pleased to know that the Lode Runner X game from Tozai Games will be exclusive on the smartphones. The Lode Runner X game is scheduled to be available from November this year.
Lode Runner is a popular 1983 platform game which was first published by Brøderbund. It is one of the first early games to be released with a level editor which supports keyboard and joystick controls. (Tozai Games and Lode Runner are trademarks of Tozai, Inc. registered or protected in the US and other countries).
Sony Ericsson has announced their collaboration with Tozai Games to bring the critically acclaimed console hit and gaming franchise “Lode Runner” to Android devices, for the first time, and helps to build the Xperia PLAY's list of over 150 optimized titles. The Lode Runner X will be available from November 2011 and exclusive on the Xperia PLAY and other Xperia devices. The Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY has recently gone on sale in the US on the AT&T network last week on 14th September, and the company said that the Xperia PLAY will launch in Japan with NTT DOCOMO in Autumn 2011.
