Lost City of Atlantis Possibly Found

It looks like Atlantis, the legendary eighth continent on Earth, have been found. According to news, a U.S.-led research team may have found the lost city in southern Spain. Read on to find out more.

Atlantis, the famous lost city of lore, might have been found in Southern Spain by a team of U.S.-led research team. Believed to have been eliminated by a tsunami strong enough to wipe out the city located 60 miles (roughly 97 kilometers) inland, the team's findings will be unveiled in "Finding Atlantis", a new National Geographic Channel special. 

"This is the power of tsunamis," head researcher Professor Richard Freund from the University of Hartford, Connecticut, told Reuters. In wake of the recent Japanese earthquake, the recent discovery stands as testament to the fearsomeness of Mother Nature.
