M1 Launches Apps Store in Singapore

Singapore Telcommunication provider, M1 Limited, has just announced the launch of their new App store designed for all platforms. The appstore has both free and paid apps, ranging from games, entertainment, social networking to utilities. Check it out at http://appstore.m1.com.sg/ Update: For those who are wondering about the iPhone apps on M1 app store, according to M1, downloads of iPhone apps has to be done via Apple iTunes. When M1 customers choose an iPhone app from the M1 app store to download, they will be directed to iTunes. The telco says there will be more exciting iPhone apps coming to M1 app store in the coming weeks.

M1 Launches Apps Store in Singapore

M1 Limited has launched their new application store in Singapore, bringing consumers the latest apps. According to the telco,

The store offers various free and paid apps from games, entertainment, sports, social networking to education and utilities. Best of all, the apps will be made available on almost every platforms including iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian and Java.

For paid apps, the purchase will be reflected on your monthly bill statement; Pre-paid customers will have the charges deducted from their balance.

The M1 AppStore can be accessed on your mobile phone at http://appstore.m1.com.sg/.

M1 is also offering developers a platform to commercialise their applications. For interested developers, they can sign up at http://appstore.m1.com.sg/developer.
