Mega Man X will be hitting the Wii U's Virtual Console on May 30. It's never too late to play an oldschool classic like this one.
Here is some news that may not save the Wii U, but it’ll surely be something that will please hardcore gamers who wouldn’t mind getting into it with another classic title. Mega Man X will be coming to Wii U’s Virtual Console in the very near future. It should be available for download on May 30, not too long of a wait for what many consider to be one of the best Mega Man games ever made.
For those who didn’t start gaming until recently, Mega Man X was originally released on the Super Nintendo about 20 years ago, which by the way makes me feel incredibly old. The title maintained the same basic mechanics of the original Mega Man titles on the NES, and tastefully added a slightly more mature premise for the story, some cool add-ons, and even a new buddy that’s always flaunting how cool he is and goes by the name of Zero.
It’s never a bad time to replay a title like this because of the fact (that’s right, the fact) that its gameplay and awesome music are timeless; and the best part is you’ll be able to play the title on the Wii U’s gamepad for some off-screen action. Check out this trailer below made by Game Informe,r which showcases what you can look forward to.
