Quick, what do you think will be the biggest product launch in China this second half of the year? The Oppo Find 7 and Xiaomi Mi3 are definite possibilities, Huawei and ZTE should have a few aces up their sleeves also, but it’s Meizu’s MX3 that looks the most encouraging at the moment.
And that’s exactly what the latest “report” alludes to. Namely, a 5.1-inch high-ender with Exynos 5 Octa heat, Full HD crispness and 2 GB RAM power. The source of the intel, mystery Twitter account @srcleaks, also has a few pics claiming to be of the device, but they look like mere “what if” kind of renders.
Be that as it may, their author, Jason Chen(?), might be onto something, painting the picture of a sleek device with minimal vertical bezels, what looks to be a smooth metalic chassis and wasp waist. The exact measurements are said to be 139.9 x 70.9 x 8 mm, which, for comparison sake, are almost identical to the ones rocked by the 5-inch Samsung Galaxy S4.
Meanwhile, mum’s the word on things like exact ETAs, pricing, processor clock speed, battery size and so on and so forth, but we do know the MX3 is planned to come with on-board Flyme 3.0, the future version of Meizu’s Android-based OS. Stay tuned for more.
