A demo for the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengence, previously released and region locked for Japan, is hitting North American in January.
Kojima Productions' next game, Metal Gear Rising: Revengence, is departing a bit from the rest of the Metal Gear series, by providing fast paced action gameplay instead of the stealth commonly associated with the franchise. Due to be released in February next year, it will take place four years after the previous game (though it was originally intended as an interequel, meant to explore what happened to protagonist Raiden between Metal Gear Solid 2 and 4).
Revengence is still a ridiculous word in my opinion
A demo for the new game has been out in Japan for some time, and the demo was also shipped with copies of the Zone of Enders HD collection. Now though, Konami has announced that the demo is being released for Xbox360 and PS3 in North America in January. No news as to whether the demo will be showing up elsewhere, but with just a month between the North American demo and the game's release, how much of a difference is it really going to make?
