Micromax’s next mobile may be called Canvas Turbo, will feature a full-HD screen
A tweet from well-known Micromax leaker MMXNewscaster indicated that the next Micromax device will be called the Canvas Turbo A250, and that it will feature a full-HD screen.
Micromax is India’s largest handset manufacturer, and is giving international vendors like Samsung a run for their money. By launching affordable handsets with great features, Micromax has carved out a niche in the Indian market.
While its latest Canvas mobile, the Canvas 4, may not have done as better as it would have liked, Micromax is looking to remedy that by unveiling a device with a full-HD screen. Allegedly called the Canvas Turbo A250, the device is said to feature a full-HD screen of unknown size, although we can safely assume that it will be more than 5 inches, if its earlier device screen sizes are any indication. The tweet by MMXNewscaster also indicates that the device will feature a quad-core processor, which will most likely be the 1.5 GHz MT6589T.

Other hardware details are likely to be in the form of 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory, 13MP rear camera, dual-SIM functionality and 3G connectivity. 4G LTE networks are yet to take off in the country, so we are unlikely to see a budget device that includes 4G radios until next year. The device will cost somewhere around $325, and will be officially announced in the coming weeks.
