Micron 1GB DDR-2 533Mhz Validated

Micron today announced the Company extended its lead in DDR2 density and speed as the first supplier to receive Intel validation of the one gigabit (1Gb) DDR2 components at 533 megahertz (MHz). Now, Micron is the first and only supplier with validation on all three densities of DDR2 at 533 MHz — providing customers the highest speed and density DDR2 DRAM components. Micron continues to enable the market with the broadest DDR2 product offering available today, including eighteen component configurations and fifty-six module configurations.

validation of the highest speed and highest density component ensures
compatibility of our product in our customers’ Intel-based platforms. Micron’s
broad application of 110 nanometer process technology positions us well with
both DDR and DDR2 products, and Micron is 100-percent ready to provide our
customers with either DDR or DDR2 products, as the market demand dictates."
