Microsoft plans to open a laboratory in Taiwan to certify hardware compatible with its Vista, considering that Taiwan is pivotal to the manufacturing of personal computers and peripherals. So far, the Taiwanese manufacturers who have been certified include ASUS., ASRock, Gigabyte, Realtek, A-Data, and VIA.
