Microsoft Selling PC Games Directly On Marketplace
Soon enough, you will be able to purchase Windows PC games from Microsoft marketplace. The software giant will be launching an online store on November 15 that allows consumers to buy e-copies of games to their PC. No need to download any special software like what you are doing today.
Next month, you will be able to download your favorite games from Microsoft's Games for Windows Marketplace. According to the company, approximately 100 PC games will be made available on 15 November, and more to come.
Gamers can now purchase and download games using their web browser, with titles including Grand Theft Auto III and Dead Rising 2, as well as Halo and Flight Simulator. The store will also offer specials like "Deal of the Week" and certain seasonal sales. Users can also do a search on games and visit pages of different publishers.
Users with a Windows Live ID can start browsing the store immediately, and purchases of games can be made with either a credit card or Microsoft Points.
