Microsoft will be issuing 12 security bulletins and software updates to fix 22 vulnerabilities on Windows and Visio next week.

Microsoft to release updates for Windows next week

According to Microsoft Security Bulletin Advance Notification for this month, the company will release 12 security bulletins and patches to patch 22 vulnerabilities.

Three of the 12 bulletin items are critical, and affect Microsoft's Windows operating system while one of them affects Internet Explorer browser as well. The rest are classified as "important", with one of them affecting Microsoft Office. In addition, Microsoft will also address a vulnerability that exists in the FTP service in IIS 7.0 and 7.5.

Remember to set your Windows Update to Automatic in case you haven't or forgotten.
