Monster.com unveils new Android app and revamped WAP portal for job seekers
Need to look for a job in a hurry? Well, don't worry, there is an app for that, and it comes in the form of Monster.com's new Android app which reportedly allows both employers and jobseekers to search got candidates and jobs respectively while on the move. According to Monster.com, the aim is to provide consumers with a flexible, on-the-go, 24X7 platform to scout and apply for job opportunities at their convenience.v
Apple loves to claim that its iTunes App Store is capable of serving apps for just about every single need under the sun, it would seem that Google's Android Market is not too far off in making that claim as well, especially where job seeking is concerned. This is because online job portal Monster.com has announced the availability of a new Android app which allows both employers and jobseekers to access “a flexible, on-the-go, 24X7 platform to scout and apply for job opportunities at their convenience”,
In addition, Monster.com has also announced the launch of its revamped WAP portal with newer and enhanced features to cater to both jobseekers and employers as well, such as the use of a new employer/recruiter interface.
The respective Android apps are currently available for download from the Android Market, although you might want to take note of the fact that Monster.com has released two different versions of the app, namely one for jobseekers and employers respecitvely, so do make sure that you have selected the right version for download.
