A number of screenshots of LG’s upcoming flagship smartphone, LG Optimus G2 have been leaked before the purported launch in LG Event on August 7.
Earlier this week, Qualcomm and LG announced that the future G series smartphone will powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 SoC. From the trio of leaked screenshots, it can be seen that the company didn’t make a lot of changes to the Optimus UI, despite a few minor touches. However, the screenshots do reveal one thing and that is the display of the device, a 5-inch Full HD display sporting a resolution of 1920×1080.
Here are some leaked photos of Optimus G2:
LG Optimus G2 features a 2.3 GHz quad-core Krait 400 processor, 2GB RAM, Adreno 330 GPU, 1080p Full HD resolution, 13 MP rear camera, 1.3 MP front camera, 32 GB storage with no microSD card support, and will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with LG Optimus UI.
LG already sent invites for their event that will be held in New York on August 7, where they are expected to launch the much awaited, LG Optimus G2.
