Motorola Collaborating With Microsoft On Windows Phone 7

About a week ago, Microsoft sued Motorola over patents infringement on their Android phones. And not long ago, both companies announced that they may be working together to build a smartphone based on the upcoming Windows Phone 7 operating system.

It took everyone by surprise when news of Microsoft suing Motorola over patents infringement on their Android phones came about about a week ago, especially when the software giant will be releasing their Windows Phone 7 this month.

Instead of fighting the case in court, an easier way would be collaboration with the company that sends the lawsuit. Well, at least that's what happening with Motorola and Microsoft. The two companies have announced that they may be working together to build a Windows Phone 7. Motorola has laid its bet on the free-to-license Android operating system with its wide range of Android smartphones. And we could be seeing some Motorola Windows Phone 7 in the near future.
