Motorola denies power issues on dual-core smartphones, will ship as planned

The newly announced Motorola's Atrix 4G and Droid Bionic have probably become the dream mobile device for most users, but it is unusual that there have been no negative reports about the two smartphones. Well, until now that is; apparently, the Atrix 4G and Droid Bionic were reported to have power problems.

According to a Motorola insider, the Atrix 4G and Droid Bionic have power issues that would cause problems including overheating even at idle mode. The instable power may even affect RF capability and cause random rebooting of the devices. Motorola's spokeswoman, Juli Burda, said that there's no such problems with the Atrix 4G and Droid Bionic and that both smartphones will ship as scheduled.

Motorola CEO, Sanjay Jha, has also expressed that the Atrix 4G and Xoom will be retailing in February, while the Droid Bionic and 4G LTE version of Xoom will ship in Q2 this year. No new on the phone pricing, or if Xoom will be tied to any operators.
