Motorola Droid MAXX image out in the wild, extended battery version of the Droid Ultra?
After the endless Motorola Smartphone related leaks in the past one week, here’s one more. evleaks posted this image of a device that is claimed to be the Motorola Droid Maxx. We put on our thinking caps.
With Google-owned Motorola’s intentions finally clear (that the company will indeed launch new Smartphones in the near future), it’s time to present you with one more leaked tidbit for this week, the last one I promise, considering the guy sitting behind the evleaks account sleeps and snores on a Sunday.
The new image posted by evleaks is claimed to be the Motorola Droid Maxx. Thinking hard about the number of Droid model numbers posted yesterday, this might actually be the ‘extended battery’ version of the Droid Ultra. We love extended batteries, and we love it even more when the phone doesn’t grow to 15mm of thickness. Here’s hoping that Motorola gets it right once again.
To clarify: DROID Ultra=XT1080, DROID MAXX=XT1080M, DROID Mini=XT1030, and Moto X=XT1060

Well, I guess we are looking at the Motorola XT1080M right now, set to launch via Verizon in the US. There was another report which said that Droid phones won’t be a Verizon exclusive this time. Let’s hope that one’s true as well.
