Motorola Google X Phone will be an AT&T exclusive?
Could the Motorola X Phone (or Google X Phone) be heading to AT&T first?
The Google X Phone is perhaps one of the most anticipated Android handset to be heading our way in the second half of 2013. Not only is it rumored to sport Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 800 processor, but the Motorola flagship may also be the first to run Android 5.0.X (Key Lime Pie).
Twitter leaker, @evleaks, recently uploaded some pictures of what is believed to the X Phone prototype. The smartphone’s specific shape was concealed by a protective case, but the AT&T branding as well as the Motorola logo were apparent.
In a separate picture, we can barely make out the “Model: XFON ATT” (upper right side of the image) right underneath the barcode, but the XFON signature alone is hinting that the handset might be the X Phone—or at least the prototype. For AT&T customers, the carrier branding is exciting news considering AT&T may be the phone’s exclusive carrier at launch, and we all know you want to brag about having the first phone to run Android 5.0.
Some other recent leaks have actually revealed the true shape of the X Phone, but this particular device is still considered a prototype so the X Phone might actually be a lot sleeker than the handset depicted above.
