Motorola Hit With Lawsuit Again, This Time From Apple

Apple has sued Motorola over patents infringement on the use of Multi-touch technology on their smartphones. According to sources, the suits mostly pertain to the touchscreen phones: Motorola Droid, Droid 2, Droid X, Cliq, Cliq XT, BackFlip, Devour A555, Devour i1, and Charm.1

First, it was HTC, and Motorola is next to be shot with a lawsuit from Apple with regards to patents infringement over multi-touch technology on their touchscreen smartphones. According to Patently Apple, there are two suits over six patents on the Motorola smartphones - Droid, Droid 2, Droid X, Cliq, Cliq XT, BackFlip, Devour A555, Devour i1, and Charm.1.

Last month, Microsoft has sued Motorola over patents infringement on their Android phones which include synchronizing of e-mail, calendars and contacts, meeting schedules and notifying applications of changes in signal strength and battery power.
