Motorola Moto X has been leaked by serial leak tweeter @evleaks, 720p display and dual-core processor under the hood.
Get a load of this, the rumored Motorola device that we were all reading about a couple of weeks back makes a comeback. The Motorola Moto X (as @evleaks names it) packs the same rumored 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and 720p (1280 x 720) display. Have a look at the complete leaked specifications:
Motorola Moto X leaked specs:
- Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 Pro
- 1.7 GHz Krait Dual-Core Processor
- Adreno 320 GPU
- 2 GB Of RAM
- 4.x-inch HD (1280 x 720) Display
- 16 GB Of Internal Storage
- 10 MP Rear Camera
- 2 MP Front Facing Camera
- Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
While the GPU part isn’t mentioned, a quick google search told us that the MSM8960 Pro comes with the powerful Adreno 320 GPU. Powering an HD display, gaming should be a breeze (check the amazing gaming experience on phones like the Sony Xperia SP which pack the same SoC). Coming to the display, while the size isn’t explicitly mentioned, we speculate that the Moto X phone will come with a 4.7-inch sized display (keeping with the current trends).

The only oddity that we found was the odd 10 MP camera sensor, we are yet to see a phone that packs a 10 MP camera. Perhaps it’s really an 8 MP or 13 MP snapper, either way we’ll only find out when Motorola decides to go official with the phone (or via unofficial ways such @evleaks).
The Motorola X Phone (if that is what the Moto X is) isn’t going to win any performance benchmarks, perhaps it was never designed with that intent. Perhaps it will be a $300 device destined to become a Play Store best-seller. Whatever it be, we eagerly await Motorola’s first new device in a long time, especially having been taken over by Google.
