For China Telecom customers who want to have a beefier device can opt to go with the Motorola XT889 instead.  The Motorola XT889 is expected to have a 1.2GHz dual core processor, a 4.3’’ 960 x 540 display, 1 GB RAM, and 16 GB of memory.  Please note that the Motorola XT889 specs are based off similar devices from Motorola, and specs are not yet confirmed.  Regardless of the specs, the Motorola XT889 runs Android 4.0 ICS, hence, we expect that it must have some half-decent specs.   Extra features on the Motorola XT889 include splash guard nano-coating and 3G connectivity.

There are no words as to the future availability of the two devices in European and North American markets.
