The NX6600GT-TD128E is built on MSI’s traditional red colored PCB and features the standard VGA, S-Video, and DVI outputs.

As is common place for most GeForce 6600GT PCIe offerings, all four of the card’s 32MB DDR3 memory chips are housed on the front side of the card; with the back side allotted for an optional VIVO chip that theNX6600GT-TD128E doesn’t feature.

Looking at the NX6600GT-TD128E from the back, you can see that the card doesn’t require any external power to operate.

And here we can get a better view of the card’s cooling solution. MSI is using a custom built heatsink fan that covers both the card’s memory and GPU. MSI’s clever design allows for cooling of the GPU and memory at the same time, a feature of the card that should prove very interesting when we start overclocking the card’s core and memory speeds.
