IMG 8726 s MSI Radeon X1600 XT Card Info

MSI is one of the first manufacturer to get their X1600 XT card
ready and is expected to enter mass production soon. This card is clocked at
590MHz core and 1.38GHz memory while the X1600 Pro model is clocked at 500MHz
core and 780MHz memory. X1600 series sports 12 pixel pipelines, Ultra-Threaded
3D architecture, 256-bit ring bus memory controller and supports Shader Model
3.0 Model as well as Crossfire. The memories used on this card is the same one
used on X1800 XT which is the Samsung 1.26ns GDDR3 memories. NVIDIA has
something up their sleeves to counter the X1600 XT and will be unveiling their
GeForce 6800 GS clocked at 425MHz core and 1GHz memory with 12 pixel pipelines
early next month. We heard that the GeForce 6800 GS will perform better than the
X1600 XT but will cost slightly higher.
