MSI X-Slim Series X340 Launch in Singapore

Even though the MSI X340 was officially announced in mid-April, the manufacturer only has the product launch in Singapore today at the Serenity Restaurant in Vivocity.

Sandra from Corbell Technology - the local distributor for MSI products - gave a brief presentation about the MSI X340, which claims to be the world's slimmest 13-inch notebook PC.

According to MSI, the X340 is 6mm at its thinnest and 19.8 mm at its widest, which is about two-third the diameter of a 50-cent coin.

On the left holds the VGA out, Ethernet, HDMI and card reader, while two USB and audio (headphone and microphone) connectors are on the right. The X340 is powered by Intel Core 2 Solo Ultra-Low Voltage (ULV) processor, 2GB DDR2 memory and 320GB SATA hard disk.
