There is a disclaimer, however, when it comes to a router that has an altered firmware.  That is, the WN100RP may not be compatible with routers that are not equipped with OEM firmware.

“May not be compatible with WiFi routers or gateways whose firmware has been altered or changed, including without limitation certain open source routers, or other WiFi routers or gateways with non-standard or outdated firmware.”

The WN100RP also has a nifty power button that allows you to save energy without having to unplug the device from the outlet.
