The new HTC 5-incher is set to hopefully bring them back into the game with smartphones. They have had it rough over the last year or so and revenues have declined pretty severely. Not too long ago the leaked images of the supposed "M7" surfaced, which suggests that HTC is pushing harder than ever before to get back to prominence.
I have said it before and I'll say it again, the phablets are going to become standard after a while. Samsung started it all out but now it's a race to see who can make the biggest phone and still call it a phone. The specs on the HTC aren't a real big secret; HTC has always been very helpful and semi-transparent when it comes to information about their phones.
One thing we didn't know was that HTC is planning on using the new Nvidia Tegra 4. The Tegra 3 is a sweet chip, it really is, and if the Tegra 4 is half the beast its predecessor was then HTC is in very good hands. If the HTC does, in fact, come out with the Tegra 4 then that will make it the world's first mobile phone to have it.
