Crackberry has got some fresh new info on the next update for the BB 10 platform, i.e. Blackberry OS 10.2.

It has hardly been a couple of days since Blackberry announced the release of their first update to their brand new platform (and last fighting chance). While many folks with their BB Z10s are waiting to get the Blackberry 10.1 update, Crackberry reports of a couple of new features that are already in the works for the next update dubbed Blackberry 10.2 (obviously).

Blackberry Product Manager Michael Clewley couldn't hide his excitement while sharing some of the new features planned for the next major update to the BB 10 platform. Here are the important new features planned for this platform update:

  • Level 1 Notifications (for emails)
  • Standard Unicode Emojis
  • Multiple Alarms (finally)
  • Setting a time to remember item

Clewley reiterated that the BB 10.2 SDK will arrive in June, with the final OS update hitting all phones (Z10, Q10 and Q5) under this platform before the end of this year. Crackberry doesn't fail to mention that had you been on Clewley's BBM Channel, you would have gotten all the news straight from the man himself when he revealed it.
