Grand Theft Auto V New GTA V trailers coming April 30th

On their official website for GTA V, Rockstar Games has revealed that new trailers for the highly anticipated fifth chapter in the definitive crime-infused Grand Theft Auto series will arrive on April 30th.

GTAV Michael Franklin Trevor New GTA V trailers coming April 30th

Rockstar Games has just announced that three new Grand Theft Auto V trailers will debut on April 30th via the game's official website.

The trailers will presumably focus on the dastardly triumvirate of criminal protagonists–that is Michael, Franklin and Trevor–who come together for one last big score. We've seen only glimpses and hints of each of the three main characters in recent trailers, and this new wave of footage will no doubt give players key insights on their personalities and varying motives.

The tough-as-nails trio–from left to right: Trevor, Franklin and Michael–prepare for their final score and leave chaos in their wake.

In case you're unfamiliar with GTA V's trio of protagonists, here's a quick run-down.

  • Trevor Phillips – Trevor's psychopathic tendencies are exacerbated by his drug-addled lifestyle, but his recklessness is often an asset in dangerous situations. He does, however, tend to leave utter mayhem in his wake–that's just his style.
  • Franklin - Makes his living as a repo-man for an Armenian car dealership, and out of the trio, he is the least experienced when it comes to the life of crime. That will all change too soon.
  • Michael - An ex-bank robber, Michael has tried retiring from his life of crime and lives in the suburbs with the sizable proceeds from his last job.

Dan Houser, vice president of creativity for Rockstar Games, had this to say about the characters:

"The trio is unlike any primary character that has appeared in a Grand Theft Auto title to date: Michael represents a protagonist who "won" and is now trying to adjust to life after his story has come to an end; Trevor is styled after a supporting character who has been re-cast in the role of protagonist; and Franklin is someone who has had no real exposure to a life of crime until the events of the game."

Be sure to head on over to the official trailer page this Tuesday to catch the new trailers in action, and we'll be sure to update you with the trailers when they go live.

Grand Theft Auto V is slated to release on Sept. 17, 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. For more information please visit Rockstar's official website.
