New sources expose almost all details about the Xiaomi Mi3
Hot on the heels of multiple conflicting rumors about Xiaomi's next flagship, another new source has provided an entire "truckload" of information about the Xiaomi Mi3, this time with information about almost every aspect about the device.
According to the source, the Xiaomi Mi3 packs a 5-inch 1080p (Full-HD, 441ppi), similar to the Samsung Galaxy S4. The Mi3 will also sport a powerful quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU, making it faster than the current flagships from Samsung, HTC, Sony and LG. As with other flagship phones around, 2GB RAM, 32GB of storage and 13 megapixel rear camera comes standard.
Where the Xiaomi Mi3 outshines its rivals though is with the generous 5 megapixel front camera for those who love to take self-shots, and a whopping 3600mAh battery, possibly allowing users 2 days of use on a single charge. In addition, the Xiaomi Mi3 comes with features usually not found on China branded phones – NFC, 5GHz Wi-Fi is also included.
What's more, the Xiaomi Mi3 is expected to launch on August 16th at a low 1999 yuan (That translates to only S$409/US$326!). It seems that Xiaomi is trying to make a mark in the high-end smartphone industry.
