Sony have announced its upcoming Vaio P series will be getting a slew of features, including accelerometer and location tracking.

Sony have announced its upcoming Vaio P series will be getting a slew of
features, including accelerometer and location tracking.

The new Vaio P will be getting additional points in the aesthetics department, featuring matte lid cover in 5 additional colors.

Inside, there will be built-in accelerometer, GPS, digital compass and the necessary wireless hardware (3G, B/G/N). Powered by a Intel Atom Z540 processor, the 600grams notebook computer will bring some comfortable computing with style and elegance.

Sony will also include a brand-new VAIO Location Search software that offers a real-time map view
without using the browser.  Map position and orientation
are displayed along with nearby Points of Interest and displaying the weather too.

Availability begins from June 2010 in Europe. Pricing to be announced
