Newman is a popular Chinese manufacturer of quality consumer electronics who decided to plunge into the smartphone market about a year and half ago. Following the footsteps of its successful Newman N1 and N2, freshly leaked images give us a glimpse of their next flagship, the Newman N3.
Newman’s currently flagship N2 smartphone ate away at market share with its good design, powerful Samsung Exynos chipset and aggressive marketing. The company is hoping to replicate their success with their 2013 flagship N3 smartphone. Leaked images show the N3 with a black and white combo color scheme which led to Chinese media labeling it as the “Panda”.
A quick look at the handset reminds us of the JiaYu G4 and Xiaomi Mi3, which is a good thing because both these devices have a really premium design and house powerful internal specifications. For the Newman N3, we are looking at a Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core chipset at the least. The chances of seeing Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa chip is very bleak considering that the Korean company is themselves finding a hard time producing enough (usable) chips for their flagship Galaxy S4.
Expect Newman to unveil their new flagship N3 soon, been quite a while since the N2 has been in the market.
