News : Antec to Introduce the Kuhler H2O 620

Antec have just introduced its first liquid cooling system, the Kühler H2O 620. Developed together by both Antec and Asetek, the cooling system is designed as a sealed unit similar to the Corsair H50 and CoolIT Eco ALC. This means that user just needs to mount the radiator to any 120mm fan and the water block to the motherboard. The advantage of such a unit is its small footprint compared to air coolers and casings which have a height limit for CPU coolers, and have a 120mm fan mounting for the radiator.

The unit will be compatible with all current and future AMD microprocessors on socket AM2, AM2+, AM3 and the upcoming AM3+ as well as Intel microprocessors on socket LGA 775, 1155, 1156 and 1366. The pump also have a rated MTBF of 50,000 hours which equates to approximately five years of 24 hours constant usage.

It is set to retail at a suggested retail price of US$69.95 and is set to compete head on with the other sealed water cooling units and high-end air coolers like the Prolimatech Megahalems. It also comes with Antec's three-year warranty for parts and labour.
