Google’s next Nexus handset has appeared in a promo video for the company’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS update.  The video has since been pulled, signaling that the featured handset was not meant to be in the video.

At a quick glimpse, it appears the new Nexus smartphone will boast a larger display as well as a better camera.  The camera lens, as seen from the screen capture of the video, looks like it’s bigger than the current gen Nexus 4.  Google exec Vic Gundotra also recently noted that they’re “committed to making Nexus phones insanely great cameras.”

The next Nexus handset will supposedly drop towards the end of this year.
