Nikon announces 8 new COOLPIX cameras
Today, Nikon announces eight new digital compact cameras, expanding on their COOLPIX portfolio. They are the COOLPIX S230, S220, S630, S620, L100, L20, L19 and P90.
Nikon unveils eight new COOLPIX digital cameras today which are sleek and compact, yet promise ease of use and superior performance for photographer enthusiasts.
Featuring 12.1-megapixel rating, the COOLPIX P90 is equipped with 24x Zoom-NIKKOR lens that covers a broad focal range of 26mm wide-angle through 624mm telephoto.
The COOLPIX S620 boasts super-fast start-up time and can capture image sizes of up to 4000 x 3000 pixels with ISO 6400 light sensitivity settings. The 12-megapixel S630 comes with 7x zoom lens, independent shooting and playback mode buttons, and user-friendly Rotary Multi Selector for intuitive operation.
The slim and compact COOLPIX S220 features 10-megapixel resolution, up to ISO 2000 sensitivity and 3x zoom lens.The S230 comes with 3-inch touch control LCD for intuitive fingertip shooting control and playback.
The COOLPIX L100 offers 15x optical zoom, covering 28mm wide-angle to 420mm telephoto shooting. It also supports up to ISO 3200.
The 10-megapixel COOLPIX L20 and 8-megapixel features Motion Detection, Nikon's BSS (Best Shot Selector) function and ISO 1600 capability.
