Yesterday, Nikon Singapore held an event to unveil their latest digital cameras and digital SLRs, including the highly anticipated D7000. According to the camera maker, the D7000 will be available early November, in time for consumers looking to buy a digital SLR during the holidays.
Masanobu Tsunoda, managing director of Nikon Singapore, gave an opening speech and said that Singapore camera market has grown steadily over the years, and the company has been part of that growth.
“At Nikon, we aim to raise the market, achieve worldwide customer satisfaction and receive professional recognition by making sure that the driving force behind the brand is our technology and understanding of customer needs. It has always been our aim to produce highest photography standard worldwide and to meet the needs of customers of highest professional needs,” says Tsunoda.
Luke Tan, Senior Executive of NPS, Nikon Singapore, was next on stage to talk about the company’s digital cameras offering this year, including the digital SLR D3100 and D7000. According to Tan, the D7000 with 18-105mm lens will be available early November at S$2,299.
The D7000 is officially launched, and that must be the biggest D7000 digital SLR camera anyone has ever seen. Yes, it’s an oversized non-working model.
And some Nikon ladies were also spotted at the events with the D7000 and D3100 digital SLR cameras.
