The top left of the D7000 holds two mode dials: the conventional mode dial sits on top of a drive-mode dial. This allows you to easily switch to single or burst mode quickly.

At the rear are various buttons including menu, WB, ISO etc, as well as the 3-inch LCD display for the menu, image playback and “Live” view for shooting pics and videos. Yes, the D7000 can shoot videos of up to full high definition (HD) resolution at 24fps.

The shutter, metering and exposure compensation buttons, power dial and the status LCD are on the top right of the DSLR camera.

On the left, we saw the AV out, USB, HDMI, microphone as well as combined GPS/remote release sockets (well, behind the rubber hood). There is also a auto/manual focus dial below the lens release button.
