Nikon has recently unveiled their new highly anticipated D7000 Digital SLR (DSLR) camera for the digital photographer enthusiasts, putting itself between the D90 and D300s lineup. Was it up to our expectations? VR-Zone takes a look at this mid-class, high-spec DX-format camera.

DSC8469 Nikon D7000 Review: A great mid class, high spec DX format camera

This new Nikon D7000 digital SLR (DSLR) camera was officially retailing in November last year, and was positioned in-between the D90 and D300s lineup. It is also Nikon’s most advanced DX-format DSLR to date, offering a wide range of rich features and advanced image technology.

Indeed, it is a tough time for camera manufacturers as they try to break the technology barrier in terms of the product’s performance and features. Instead of mere design tweaks and bloated features, the D7000 is one example that excels and stands out amongst its other DX siblings.

Let us look at a quick breakdown of the specification chart by Nikon
