Nikon launches COOLPIX S2600 in Singapore

Nikon has announced the launch of their new COOLPIX S2600 which begins retailing today. The slim and stylish compact camera has a 5x zoom NIKKOR lens with 26mm wide-angle view and boasts 14-megapixel sensor to capture high resolution images.

Nikon has launched the COOLPIX S2600 in Singapore. Based on its previous model, S2500, the new compact digital camera also comes in an ultra-stylish and slim form factor. The COOLPIX S2600 feaures a 14-megapixel sensor with Nikon EXPEED C2 image processing engine that can deliver high quality images with minimised processing time. It is also equipped with 5x zoom NIKKOR lens with 26mm wide-angle coverage and electronics VR image stabilisation to ensure non-blurry pictures. You can also record high definition movies at 1280x720 pixels, with just a press of the record button, and the camera claims to be optimised for windy settings with automatic noise reduction. Besides silver, black, pink, blue and red, Nikon is offering the S2600 in decorative purple and black. The Nikon COOLPIX S2600 officially starts retailing today at an attractive S$179.
