June is here and with E3 so close, Nintendo and Microsoft are ready to tease more about their showcases.

Nintendo have already announced they will not be pursuing a traditional form of press conference for this year’s E3, but will be streaming their entire conference via their own platform, Nintendo Direct. Overnight saw Nintendo begin to roll-out their strategy with this wonderful website which features a countdown timer and some familiar silhouettes.

The livestream is set for June 11th at 7am Pacific Time and will feature video tours, interviews and game announcements over the course of  E3. The coverage is expected to continue throughout the entirety of E3 and demos will be available at Best Buys around the United States. The locations will possibly be updated on the site, but nothing is confirmed.

Meanwhile, Microsoft is already outlining their focus on games, rather than services for their E3 Presentation. Major Nelson, better known as  Larry Hyrb, has a countdown on his own blog leading up to Microsoft’s big events. Nelson has outlined four major ceremonies, including something titled “Xbox: A new Generation of Games Revealed” and will be streamed live on June 10th via Xbox.com and Spike TV on June 10th. This will be on the first day of E3 at 12:30pm and will possibly be about the purported games that some claim were missing from the original Xbox One reveal.

Three more events will occur during the expo between 7 and 8pm each day. This will possibly be a round up of games revealed or shown at E3, and Microsoft could definitely turn it all around by showing off  exclusives and blowing their competition out of the water. Nintendo on the other hand know they can broadcast directly to their consumer base and continue going for that crowd. Regardless, E3 shall be incredibly interesting this year to witness.
