Noctua announces free AMD mounting upgrade kit

Noctua, a well-established player in the enthusiast cooling market, has announced that it will provide its upgraded AMD mounting kit for free to all of those who have purchased its previous mounting kits.

The new NM-A90 is capable of being mounted perpendicularly on the rectangular AMD mounting fixture, a feature which previous AMD mounting kits were unable to do so.

Owners of the current NH-U12P and NH-U9B mounting kits are eligible for the free upgrade, but only if they are able to supply a valid proof of purchase of the NH-U12P or NH-U9B and either an AM2/AM2+/AM3 motherboard or processor (scan, photo or screenshot of the purchase invoice).

For more information pertaining to the free upgrade, you might want to visit Noctua's upgrade page here.
