Austrian based Noctua has announced the NH-U9B SE2 CPU cooler, a special edition of the NH-U9B, a popular silent thermal solution used in many HTPCs or smaller cases.
Measuring 71 x 95 x 125mm and weighing 460g, the NH-U9B SE2 features a nickel plated copper base, 3 copper heat-pipes and aluminum cooling fins. It comes with 2x NF-B9 92mm fans with SSO-Bearings and are capable of a maximum speed of 1600 RPM at 17.6dBa. The NH-U9B SE2 is fully compatible with Intel LGA 775, 1156, 1366 sockets and AMD AM2, AM2(+), AM3 sockets, via its SecuFirm2 multi-socket mounting system. Backed by a 6 year warranty, it is available in November at a MSRP of USD$54.90 / 46.90 Euro and also comes bundled with 2x Ultra-Low-Noise Adaptors, 2x Low-Noise Adaptors and 1x NT-H1 thermal compound.
