The Nokia N8 is the first phone to incorporate Symbian^3 operating system and sports a stylish anodized aluminium casing. Its 3.5-inch widescreen (640 x 360 pixels)touch display looks good, though unlike some phones, the N8 only features three customizable home screens.

The main menu has a neat layout of the various applications like calendar, contacts, media player and maps, as well as the phone settings.

The microSD and SIM card slots, and micro USB connector are on the left of the phone

At the rear is the 12-megapixel camera that uses the Carl Zeiss lens, with autofocus and Xenon flash.

At the top, we find the HDMI output and 3.5mm audio input.

The camera mode, phone lock switch and volume/camera zoom controls are on the right of the N8.

Picture as well as video playback looks great on the N8. It is scheduled to be available in Q3 this year in Dark grey, silver white, green, blue, orange. The estimated retail price of the N8 is EUR 370 before taxes and subsidies.
