The soon to be unveiled Nokia EOS holds very little secrets following all those leaked photos from last week, but if you wondered how the thing looks next to a Lumia 920, here’s your answer.

Nokia EOS Nokia EOS poses for the camera again, looks like Lumia 920s long lost twin

Quick, which one’s which? Well, I won’t blame you if you can’t get the answer right from the first try, so I won’t keep you on pins and needles any further – the EOS is the one on the right and the Lumia 920 sits on the left.

How can I be so sure of that? Simple, while the two look almost identical at a first glance, if you look closely you’ll notice the gizmo on the right doesn’t lay flat on its back. And there can only be one reason for that – the massive camera hump needed to keep the very generous megapixel count in check.

Yeah, bummer, it turns out the protrusion is not only fairly ugly, but also a little inconvenient. Then again, it could have been worse. Just think of Samsung’s Galaxy S4 Zoom and its hideous, hideous back.

Turning our attention back to the uncanny similarities between EOS and 920’s exteriors, we have to say it’s a little disappointing to see Nokia’s design team showing so little creativity. On the other hand, the 920 is anything but an ugly phone, so you know what they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

The only question now is whether or not the EOS will at least be lighter than the Lumia 920, since Nokia’s 2012 flagship was a little chunky and weighed a full 185 grams. Remember, the spec sheet is said to include an OLED 4.5-inch screen with 1,280 x 728 pix res, a 41 MP PureView snapper with Xenon flash, 32 GB of on-board storage, no microSD card slot, Windows Phone 8, plus a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.
