Nokia might be preparing to add another mid-range device with a gigantic screen to its Windows Phone lineup, as a successor to the Lumia 625.
Evleaks first revealed the Lumia 1320 with the Nokia “Batman” codename, and now The Verge believes the device will be a large-screen handset that fits in Nokia’s budget lineup, just above the Lumia 625, which is currently Nokia’s largest smartphone. Exactly how big the screen will be is unknown, but if we were to hazard a guess, 5-inch would seem just about right – not as large as the 6-inch Lumia 1520, but large enough to not feel like an unnecessary addition to the Lumia portfolio.
The Lumia 1320 will reportedly be Nokia’s top low-end Windows Phone, with specs similar to the Lumia 625, including a 5-megapixel camera accompanied by Nokia’s feature-packed Camera app that debuted on the Lumia 1020. Expect to see a formal announcement at Nokia’s October 22nd event, where we’ll also be introduced to devices like the Lumia 929 and music-focused Lumia 525.
