The Nokia Lumia 800 resembles the N9 Meego-based phone at first glance, and the main differences are the preinstalled Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, the standard touch buttons (back, Start and search) below the display, and an additional camera mode/shutter button on the right which is absent on the N9. At the top holds the 3.5mm audio jack, as well as microUSB and microSIM card slots. Navigating the Windows Phone is fast, despite being powered by a 1.4 Ghz single core MSM8255 processor. Nokia claims the battery life can last up to a day or more before the need to recharge, depending on usage. Other features include a 3.7 inch AMOLED ClearBlack curved display, 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with Carl Zeiss optics and LED flash, high definition video playback, 16GB internal user memory and 25GB of free SkyDrive storage for storing images and music. Nokia has also included their own apps such as Nokia Drive, a free, turn-by-turn navigation app for drivers; Nokia Music that allows users to listen and purchase their favorite songs.

The Nokia Lumia 800 will be available in cyan, magenta and black. Local pricing details have not been confirmed, though at Nokia World, the phone was reported to have a retail price of €420 (approximately S$740), excluding taxes and subsidies.

Like its Lumia 800 sibling, this one also incorporates 1.4GHz processor though the rear camera is a 5-megapixel instead. The phone also comes with physical back, Start and search buttons below the 3.7-inch touchscreen display. Local pricing for the Nokia Lumia 710 isn't available yet, but it was reported to have a retail price of €270 (approximately S$475), excluding taxes and subsidies. Both the Nokia Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 are scheduled to be in retail stores before end of this year.
