Nokia Singapore has announced the X3 Touch and Type smartphones which, from it name, allows users to tap on its touchscreen, as well as having a keypad for typing their messages. It is available now at S$295 without mobile subsidies.
Singapore, 27 September 2010 – Nokia has announced their latest super slim “Touch and Type” smartphone, the Nokia X3 Touch and Type, in Singapore.
Successor to the Nokia X3-00, the phone features a combination of a touchscreen display and 12 button phone keypad which allow users to tap on the display, and make calls or type messages with the keypad. The Nokia X3 Touch and Type is now available in Singapore, retailing at S$295, excluding taxes and subsidies.
The Nokix X3 Touch and Type measures just 9.6mm thin and slips easily into the purse or the pocket. It sports a brushed aluminum back cover and comes in five vibrant colors for the fashionistas.
In terms of features, the phone comes with four bands for voice, 3G, HSDPA and WiFi for data, a music player and an FM radio. It also comes equipped with 5-megapixel camera with 4X digital zoom, to capture quality images and videos. On top of that, the X3 Touch and Type has dedicated music and messaging keys for quick access to the music player and email.
It has all the regular webmail and chat services and you can download apps easily from the Ovi Store via the 2.4-inch resistive touchscreen.
