Norton launches Internet Security and AntiVirus 2012

Norton by Symantec today unleashed the new Norton Internet Security (NIS) and Norton AntiVirus (NAV) 2012 with new features designed to enhance the overall user experience while providing the protection and performance the user requires. The company is also delivering on their initiative with mobile and cloud-based technology, which include new beta products and services which will be launched in the coming months with plans to support mobile and tablet devices for both Android and iOS platforms.
The Norton 2012 incorporates new features to address the latest threats and provides powerful protection against users' online personal information. The key security technologies and usability improvements include: Norton Identity Safe in the Cloud which protects personal and financial information from cybercriminals and keeps users safe from fraudulent websites; new streamlined interface with simplified login experience, and ability to store passwords in the cloud and accessible from any computer with NIS2012 installed; and improved SONAR technology monitors running applications for suspicious behavior to quickly detect and disable previously unknown threats.
The Norton Internet Security 2012 and Norton AntiVirus 2012 are now available for purchase in Singapore through various retailers and the Norton online store at www.nortonstore.com.sg. The MSRP for Norton Internet Security 2012 is S$89, which provides one year of protection for up to three PCs, and the MSRP for Norton AntiVirus 2012 is S$39, which provides one year of protection for one PC.
The Norton 2012 products support Microsoft Windows XP (32-bit) Home/Professional/Tablet PC/Media Center with Service Pack 2 or later, Microsoft Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit) and Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) both for Starter/Home Basic/Home Premium/Business/Ultimate editions.
