NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti rumored to feature 10GB VRAM

A shipping manifest discovered recently suggests NVIDIA’s upcoming GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card could feature 10GB of GDDR5X VRAM, down from 12GB on the Titan X Pascal. This does make a lot of sense as the card will be positioned between the GeForce GTX 1080 and the Titan X Pascal. So while it won’t have the same 12GB GDDR5X VRAM as the flagship Titan X Pascal, it will still have 2GB more VRAM than the GeForce GTX 1080.

The shipping manifest also reveals that the card will come with a 384-bit memory bus, which is higher than necessary. But of course, final specs may be different, so we will need to take the info with a grain or two of salt. The card, carrying the product number PG611 SKU10 (699-1G611-0010-000), will be the second product to be based on the PG611 platform after the Titan X Pascal.

The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will be based on the Pascal GP102 silicon, featuring 3,328 CUDA cores, 208 Texture Mapping Units, and 96 ROPs. According to rumors, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is expected to be launched early next year, possibly in the first quarter of the year.
