A rather unassuming picture, purported to be of NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce GTX 580, has leaked at Chinese forums PCinlife. At first glance, the GTX 580 looks much more like the GTX 470 than the GTX 480. It features similar contours to the GTX 470, but is longer and features a larger fan. Read on for more...

A rather unassuming picture, purported to be of NVIDIA's upcoming GeForce GTX 580, has leaked at Chinese forums PCinlife. At first glance, the GTX 580 looks much more like the GTX 470 than the GTX 480. It features similar contours to the GTX 470, but is longer and features a larger fan.

The card features identical display outputs to the GF100 cards - 1xHDMI, 2xDVI, lagging well behind AMD's display output innovations.

Apart from a GTX 470-like design, but with a longer PCB and a larger fan, the pictures unfortunately do not give anything else away. Do note that these may be early engineering prototypes, and the final cooler may be different.
