Nvidia to demonstrate next-gen DX11 GPU today

Reported by on Wednesday, September 30 2009 7:15 pm

Fudzilla reports that Nvidia will demonstrate its next-gen DX11 GPU, known as GT300, Fermi and/or GF100, at a keynote event today. Nvidia have been very silent about its next-gen products thus far, many having doubted the existence of such a product. Finally, after long last, CEO Jen-Hsun Huang will demonstrate and speak about their next-gen product, and attempt to put all doubts and rumours to rest (Though, yield issue rumours will probably still circulate). As expected, Nvidia is heading towards shader compute processing rather than games - though the GPU is expected to perform very well in DX/OGL applications as well. We will closely follow any information that may be available following the demonstration.
