Nvidia has announced their refreshed architecture – Geforce 200M will get 40nm core and it will support DirectX 10.1 unlike the first gen Geforce 200M that was based on the G92 core.

The new architecture will replace the existing  based on the high-end desktop architecture, replacing the current 9M series across the board.

Lesser power consumption and significantly better performance (claimed to be 2 times better) makes the new architecture shines.
